Shaun Tan and David Miller are two of Australia’s much loved children’s book author/illustrators. Their different approaches to storytelling are displayed side by side in Another World.
Exhibiting original works from Shaun’s book The Rules Of Summer, Yarra Valley artists David Miller will be showing his incredible paper sculptures.
Shaun Tan grew was the ‘good drawer’ at school compensating, only just, for being the ‘short kid’ in school. He graduated from the University in 1995 with joint honours in Fine Arts and English Literature and currently works as an artist and author in Melbourne. He has become best known for illustrated books that deal with social and historical subjects through dream-like imagery.
