A sweet experience!
If you like great cafes, then you will love Three Sugars. Brian Gauchi founded the cafe over 10 years ago and it quickly became one of the most popular cafes in the Yarra Valley. It’s easy to see why – the atmosphere is relaxed, comfortable and cosy, the staff are friendly and the service fast.
As for the food and drinks, they make some of the most delicious pies, cakes, muffins and fresh juices you will find anywhere. According to Brian, the pumpkin spinach ricotta pies and the open baked pies ‘really rock!’. They do more than rock, they make us positively salivate!
Being somewhat of a connoisseur of chai lattes, I was delighted when my chai arrived accompanied by a small cup of honey. It’s the little touches like this that make the difference between an average cafe and a great cafe. And Three Sugars is most definitely the latter!

I wish this place was open on Australia Day at 8pm when I finally finished the O’Shannassy Trail. One of those pumpkin spinach ricotta pies was just what I needed.

Went there yestyerday 13th Feb. What can I say it was the best breakfast we have ever had and very reasonable. Plus on the way out bought 6 assorted pies to take home and some muffins.
It is well worth the trip and what a beautiful setting. Would give it 10/10 for food and 10/10 for the setting. Staff were excellent.
Only warning get there early the place was packed. But with food like that you can understand why.
After spending 4 days camping in Warburton in 30+ degree heat over the Labour Day weekend having the chance to breakfast here on our way home was a true delight and the highlight for me. The food was just amazing but the kindness and helpfulness of the staff just blew me away. We will be coming back very soon.
