Situated among seven acres of stunning gardens, visitors are treated to a world-class dining experience featuring award-winning Coombe Farm wines, against a historic, picturesque backdrop.
Coombe Yarra Valley is the perfect location for a wine-tasting, private event or wedding, a tour of the garden and gallery or simply an outstanding meal in the a la carte restaurant.
Located within the restored motor house and historic clock tower, their restaurant offers an inspiring selection of seasonal and predominantly estate grown produce for lunch and afternoon tea seven days a week and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
The restaurant is modern and spacious yet intimate and overlooks the landscaped market-style courtyard and gardens. The view from the conservatory is of the Coombe cottage garden ‘avenue’, and gives glimpses of the oldest swimming pool in Victoria.
Sitting alongside the Melba Gallery, the Providore, and the cellar door, restaurant guests can enjoy a gourmet wine, food, retail and artistic experience in one unique location.
Occasionally on weekends Coombe hosts weddings in their main restaurant. At these times some seating may not be available. Please check with their reservation team for more details.

The Coombe Cottage property includes seven acres of historic, landscaped gardens. The gardens offer a variety of locations to personalise your ceremony and photographs to suit the style, season and size of your wedding.
The historic clock tower restaurant has seats for up to 150 people and offers exquisite seasonal, gourmet and predominantly estate-grown produce in a truly stunning setting. Coombe’s Events team can assist in tailoring menu, wine and drinks packages to ensure your special day is absolutely perfect.
The Coombe Farm wine brand was established in 2002 with the ‘Farm’ cellar door opening in 2007, quickly establishing itself as one of the most popular in the Valley. Their exemplary cellar door also offers regular wine tastings, but if you can’t make it to the Estate yourself, they sell their wines in their online shop.
Also currently offered are ‘Melba Tours’, namely the Melba’s Garden Walk, which is available Monday – Friday at 10:00am & 2:00pm and Saturday at 10:00am. The cost is $25 per person and includes morning or afternoon tea. Coombe also frequently hosts events on the Estate, such as its showing of Shakespeare’s ‘Much Ado About Nothing’, presented by Essential Theatre. This event will be happening in January 2017, but check their website for further details.
