School holidays may be over but the water play continues at Healesville Sanctuary until the end of March! And the weather is warming up so cool down, chill out and splash about this summer at Healesville Sanctuary!

Stay cool and discover how the animals do the same, finding out just how much animals love water play. It’s a treat for dingoes who love to dabble and goannas who love to dip. And, of course, visitors have their very own Splash Zones which can be activated by the push of a button!

This summer, it’s all about having fun with water. Duck and dive your way through the water misters along the pathways. It’s the coolest fun ever!

Under the shaded Platypus Arena, don’t forget to join the local water wildlife in the Sanctuary’s daily show, Tales from Platypus Creek. Find all about why healthy waterways are important to precious wildlife, and what visitors can do every day to save water.

But be warned: the Sanctuary’s Zooperheroes and keepers are armed with Super Soakers ready to hose down extinction, each other and even an eager visitor or two!

The Sanctuary Harvest cafe will deliver the best of the Yarra Valley this summer – pop in for lunch, a cool drink or an ice cream. It’s located directly opposite the fabulous shaded Kids’ Nature Play area.

Refresh in one of the many shady, tranquil spots dotted throughout the Sanctuary. Visit the brand new Lyrebird exhibit Echoes in the Mist and get a bird’s eye view from the forest canopy while cooling down beside the misty waterfall. Wander through the Wetlands and see how many of their 14 waterbirds you can spot.

Slip, slop and slap this summer at Healesville Sanctuary – it promises to be a summer like no other!
