A Day On The Green – Rochford Wines March 22, 2014.
Few Australian bands have made their mark in our live landscape like ‘The Hunters’ have. Their ferocious live performances have forged a profound connection with audiences all around the country.
The a day on the green at Rochford Winery in the Yarra Valley on Saturday March 22 will be the one of the last of 11 a day on the green events that has stretched across Australia since January.
Hunters & Collectors – Mark Seymour, Jack Howard, Michael Waters, Jeremy Smith, Doug Falconer, Barry Palmer, John Archer and Rob Miles – were renowned for their big, big sound and on this tour production-wise the band will again deliver their trademark powerhouse assault. They’ve also been working on an innovative visual show for the accompanying screens.
Special guests at the show are You Am I, Something For Kate and British India, who both pay tribute to the Hunters on the ‘Crucible’ album by covering respectively ‘When The River Runs Dry’ and ‘Do You See What I See’.
Hunters & Collectors’ musical legacy is profound. When accolades are thrown around cheaply these days, they are, without question, one of our truly great live bands. Don’t miss this final chance to see Hunters & Collectors in concert.
